The Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) members and officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Lingayen, Pangasinan showed concern for the environment by conducting a coastal clean-up drive on November 29, 2020.
After a series of storms, debris scattered along the coastal bay of Bonuan Tondaligan Beach, a well-known tourist spot in Dagupan City, Pangasinan. The brethren, through the guidance of Brother Roselito Carlos, district supervising minister, took to heart to clear the beach of the debris, which could pose risks to people and the environment.
Before the activity started, the brethren gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Bonuan to receive important instructions from the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, Brother Roderick Palisoc.
He advised the brethren to observed sanitary precautions and health protocols to make sure the safety of everyone. “The activity taught the brethren to have value and care for the environment. Fulfilling one of the commandments of God, Church Of Christ members from all over the world continue to share their faith through online evangelical missions. All throughout the missionary works, brethren ensured they strictly observed health and safety protocols.
On December 6, 2020, in the Ecclesiastical District of Naga City, Camarines Sur in the Philippines, Christian families, led by every head of the household, sent the link of the videoconference room where their relatives and friends can join to witness the study of God’s words.
During the virtual evangelistic event, guests from various remote sites listened attentively to the teachings upheld by the Church taught by Brother Eric Zaratan, district supervising minister. From the Holy Scriptures, he taught why people should join the Church Of Christ and its importance in attaining everlasting life in the Holy City.
Meanwhile, in Ottawa Ecclesiastical District in Canada, the deacons and deaconesses spearheaded the invitation for the district-wide evangelical mission conducted on December 4, 2020 through video streaming. Guests who logged on to witness the preaching of God’s words gained more knowledge about the one true Church. As a result, many expressed their intention to join the Church by attending Bible studies.
Although their movement is limited by quarantine measures being implemented in different places, brethren all over the world remain true to their promise to God to help more people receive salvation on Judgment Day. ― With reports from INC News Section

A new Group Worship Service (GWS) was recently established in the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand. The Nakhon Si Thammarat GWS held its inaugural worship service on November 27, 2020 at Pakpphoon Muang, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand.
The province of Nakhon Si Thammarat is in Southern Thailand and before, the brethren there traveled six hours to reach the Local Congregation of Phuket being the nearest place of worship.
They consider the Church Administration’s approval of the establishment of their GWS as a great blessing from God as they now have a place of worship closer to their homes.
Brother Willen Regalado, district supervising minister, led the holy occasion.
The attendees observed health protocols such as physical distancing and wearing of face mask and face shield.
In spite of the present situation of the world, the Church Of Christ continues to grow in Thailand.
The brethren are very happy because the Church Administration continues to take care of their spiritual needs, such as by making sure that they would be able to continue their worship services. — With reports from INC News Section

Church Of Christ in LA hosts free Covid-19 mobile testing

With Covid-19 cases still on the rise in the US, Church members from the Ecclesiastical District of Los Angeles County helped in making Covid-19 tests more accessible to their community. On November 28, 2020, they conducted an Aid to Humanity event wherein they set up a free Covid-19 mobile testing hub in Panorama City, through the coordination of the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc. with the City of Los Angeles government.
The district supervising minister, Brother Jerwin D. Luar, spearheaded the activity. Moved by their love for their fellowmen, the brethren and the local frontliners were able to give over 1,100 Covid-19 tests while observing the health and safety protocols. Care packages and copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine were also handed over afterwards to those who availed of the free medical service.
One of the recipients was Mrs. Maria Gomez, from Mission Hills, California, together with her husband and children. “It was a good experience. Fast. Organized. It’s a great thing you’re doing this. Thank you,” she said. Dakota Walker from LA said, “The procedure is quite simple. Everything is organized. It’s a good thing.”
Brother Andrew Macadangdang, resident ministerial worker of North Hollywood Local Congregation, said, “We want to stay safe, which is why we have this kind of activity for the benefit of our families and the community.” — With reports from INC News Section

On December 5, 2020, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) handed out relief packages to members of St. Francis of Assisi Mission Church in Baras, Rizal, Philippines; a part of the Antiochian Orthodox Church. The members of this archdiocese were affected by the recent typhoons, not to mention the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Spearheaded by the district supervising minister, Brother Arnel Agorilla, Church members from the Local Congregation of Pinugay, Ecclesiastical District of Rizal East turned over 3,000 bags of relief goods. These were given right away to the members of the said church. Health and safety protocols were followed during the outreach activity.
In response to the request of Mr. Yitzhak Pascual Monzanto, their Vicar General and archpriest, the Executive Minister of the Church Of Christ, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, approved this Lingap sa Mamamayan (Aid to Humanity) event.
Mr. Monzanto said to the Executive Minister, “We’re happy that he opened his arms to us.” On behalf of their archdiocese, he added, “I would like to express our deep gratitude for this unexpected assistance ... show[ing] love for our fellowmen, not because of religion but of intention to help one another.”
His vicar forane, Mr. Zurin Jerry Juanito Ellaga, said, “The aid you have given us are truly significant for us. This community will never forget this, especially our church. Not only were you quick in responding but you did not hesitate in doing so.”
Jessica Polvorosa, one of the beneficiaries, said, “We are thankful to your group for sharing with us your blessings.”

Three days before the end of November this year, the Church Of Christ in the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West gained additional members with the holy baptism on November 27, 2020. The holy gathering was held at the house of worship of Melbourne Local Congregation in Victoria.
Brethren all over the ecclesiastical district witnessed the holy gathering through live video streaming, while others, together with the candidates for baptism, arrived early at the venue strictly following government health protocols.
In the gathering prior to the baptism proper, district supervising minister, Brother Romeo Beltran, led the study of God’s words. From the Bible, he taught the importance of their membership inside the Church Of Christ.
With more people added into the fold despite the pandemic, it was truly a blessed day for the district. The newly baptized members promised to always prove their vow to spread the Good News to many that truly pleases the Almighty God. ― With reports from INC News Section

The members of the Local Congregation of Busdak in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon South have all reasons to rejoice as their newly-built house of worship was dedicated to the Lord God through a worship service on December 4, 2020.
The new chapel is situated in Sitio Busdak, Brgy. Tayuman Ibaba, Municipality of San Francisco, Quezon Province, Philippines. The construction of the 200-seater house of worship was started on February 23, 2019 by the INC Engineering & Construction Department. It stands on a lot adjacent to the site of the congregation’s old chapel constructed in 2003.
In the dedication worship service, Brother Criselio C. De Lazo, district supervising minister, preached from the Bible the importance of building and taking care of the house of worship.
The brethren are thankful to the Lord God for the new house of worship. They promise to take care of it and actively fulfill their worship services to God.
The Local Congregation of Busdak began as an extension of the Local Congregation of Tayuman, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon South. It was elevated to a full-fledged local congregation on July 6, 2020, while the construction of their new house of worship was in full swing. — With reports from INC News Section

With the noble intent to help their fellowmen, members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) from the Local Congregation of Hsinchuang, Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan, volunteered to donate blood to the Taipei Blood Center, Taiwan Blood Services Foundation (TBSF) in New Taipei City, Taiwan on November 29, 2020.
TBSF helps to provide blood for 262 hospitals in the country with its jurisdiction population of about 7.97 million people. The foundation launches a blood donation campaign from various places in the country using blood donation mobiles, along with trained doctors and nurses equipped with medical facilities.
SCAN members spearheaded the brethren from their congregation in donating blood. Brethren showed their love and care to help people who need blood.
Brethren in Hsinchuang said that they are glad to be part of the activity that saves lives and improves their health and well-being. They promised that they will always participate in all activities launched by the Church Administration. ― With reports from INC News Section

PHILIPPINES—To further intensify the Church’s campaign for the propagation of the faith, led by the district supervising minister, Brother Rodel Barrera, brethren from all over the Ecclesiastical District of Mountain Province conducted a Pasugo drive and online evangelical mission.
Mountain Province is in the Cordillera Central mountain range in the northern part of Luzon island in the Philippines. Even if the terrain is mountainous, the brethren were not hampered from performing their duty to share their faith.
Brethren from all over the district distributed free copies of Pasugo: God’s Message magazine on November 2, 2020. They went from house to house in their neighborhood, as well as in remote locations, where they braved the danger of traversing the steep sides of the mountain. They handed over copies of the Church’s official magazine to the townsfolk so more people would learn about the Church. They strictly observed the health and safety protocols.
Furthermore, on November 8, 2020, the district held an online evangelical mission, to which the members of households invited their relatives, friends, schoolmates, and colleagues by sending the link of the video stream for their guests to watch and hear the preaching of God’s words.
In an interview, Brother Barrera encouraged the brethren under his care to always draw inspiration from God’s promises to His nation as they prioritize their duties of propagating the true Christian faith. “Let us remain in our active participation in all the activities launched by the Church Administration no matter what the situation of the world is,” he said. ― With reports from INC News Section
