On October 10 and 11, 2026, CFO LIVE (Livelihood, Interactive, Values, and Entertainment) was held at the SMX Convention Center, the first-ever visit in Mindanao. It was spearheaded by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Office, in collaboration with various departments and offices from the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) Central Office, and district leadership across Davao region of the Philippines.
Located at the third level of SM Lanang Premier along J.P. Laurel Avenue, Lanang, Davao City, the said venue is the largest of its kind, offering 5,200 square meters of leasable space. For the two-day event, it was filled to capacity with various booths.
By the entrance were a huge LED wall of CFO LIVE, standing Verse Tarps, and decorative installations featuring INC Victory Kids, which are animated character personalities created by the INC Children’s Museum and INC Animations.
Strategically mounted for the attendees were Job and Trade Fairs’ booths for Livelihood; Sand Pit with RC (radio-controlled) Cars, Bookmobile, NEU/Preaching Show, Central Office-Quiz Show, CEBSI Exlusive Souvenirs, etc. (Interactive); Values Hall, INC Museum HistoEx Ark, Gratitude Garden, Character Studio (Values), etc.; and Entertainment Stage, PC Games, Sand Ball, Arcade Games, Hobbies, Console Games (Entertainment).
“It truly brought joy and happiness to the brethren,” attested Brother Macleo Ibasco, Davao City District supervising minister, who led the doors’ opening signaling the event’s Day 1. “Families enjoyed the games prepared for them. Praise be to our Almighty God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Supervising ministers of neighboring districts were also present during this occasion.
Brother Jose Carlo Oraa, Davao City District CFO overseer, explained that the activities were designed for members of different ages. He also shared its noble purpose: “Not only to bring joy and happiness to the brethren but also to give them added inspiration in their services to God and in upholding their divine election.”
“Activities like these are very timely being truly of help in fostering love of the brotherhood, thereby further edifying the brethren in their faith,” said Brother Rodrigo Ronie, Davao del Norte District CFO overseer.
“It’s my first time to attend an activity like this. I felt very privileged to experience it. I’m very happy,” said Thea Blythe Rasonable from the Local Congregation of Tibungco, Davao City.
“We have common interests, especially sports. I think that’s one of the reasons we all got together, even though we came from different places, different local congregations. What an opportunity to communicate and enjoy the experience,” said Ricalyn Saliot from Matina Congregation, Davao City, upon bonding with fellow brethren.
“I was amazed, and am very thankful to our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, and Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, for this kind of activity for the brethren, including those who reside here in Davao region,” said Wennie Nadela, from Spruce Meadows Congregation, Calgary District, who was in town with her family. – With assistance from Mark Andro T.
