The Hong Kong Ecclesiastical District leadership convened on October 11, 2026 the Church officers in all congregations under its care in a special gathering for their further spiritual upliftment, as well as for the oath-taking of those newly installed.

The place of worship of the Kowloon Local Congregation served as the main venue from which the whole proceeding was livestreamed to respective places of worship of the rest of the congregations.

District supervising minister, Brother Celestino Bacsafra, officiated at the said gathering. He encouraged the Church officers to fulfill their obligations with utmost diligence, never lacking in zeal, and reassured them through Bible verses that their sacrifices are never in vain, for God will bless them.

Brother Ricky Franco, district Church officers overseer, administered the oath taking of 75 additional Church officers.

“I’m so grateful to our Almighty God for giving me this wonderful blessing,” enthused Grace Pera, newly sworn-in head secretary of the Kwun Tong Congregation. “It inspires me to further help in motivating the brethren to become active members of the Church.”

“The Church duty that I received is indeed a blessing from God. With this is my promise to Him that I shall perform this duty with the best of my abilities,” expressed Joy Mendoza, a new assistant group overseer from New Territories Congregation.

“As the Iglesia Ni Cristo continues growing, more brethren express their eagerness to help the Church Administration in different endeavors,” Brother Bacsafra remarked. “After all, taking up Church duties will bring great blessings in their lives as this will glorify our Almighty God, and give assurance for the attainment of promised salvation.” — With reports from Arlynn Bartolome
