More than 1,500 brethren from the Camarines Norte Ecclesiastical District united for a Fun Walk, and Coastal Clean-up drive held on October 10, 2026. It was held along a stretch of the President Corazon Aquino Boulevard, also known as Bagasbas Beach Boulevard—the longest boulevard in the Philippines.
Early that morning, brethren gathered at the starting point of the Fun Walk in Barangay San Jose. Led by district supervising minister, Brother Roy D. dela Peña, they went for a 1.3-kilometer walk to Barangay Del Carmen.
Upon reaching the said destination, the brethren took part in a Coastal Clean-up drive held along a stretch of the coastline.
Kathleen Faith Tero, choir member from Daet Congregation, enthused that she “was very happy for being able to respond to the call of the Church Administration to help in taking care of the environment.” Lara Jane Villafuerte, Children’s Worship Service teacher from Labo Congregation, added, “I took part in these activities for through these, I would be able to meet more brethren, and I also become part of the Church’s efforts to preserve the cleanliness and beauty of our surroundings.”
Faye Flora, Local Congregation Chronicler from Manguisoc Congregation, shared, “I may have been physically tired after the activities, but I will never be tired in participating in the endeavors of the Church which all aim to giving glory to God.”
On behalf of the brethren in the district, Brother dela Peña stated, “The distances which the brethren had to travel to take part in these activities vary, yet, all of them felt truly happy for they know that by being united with the Church Administration in the various works of the Church, they give honor and glory to God.” — With reports from Andrian Maron
