“I find the lesson very meaningful because I’m looking for teachings that are in accordance with the Holy Scriptures. It’s a plus that Church members are well-mannered and respectful toward one another,” shared Ronald Cuajao, one of the guests at the evangelical mission held by the Ecclesiastical District of Misamis Occidental on August 2, 2026. Brother Arnel A. Tumanan, the Church’s Edification Overseer, was sent by the Church Administration to lead the evangelical mission.

Held at the house of worship of the Ozamiz City Congregation, the propagational activity was part of the brethren’s commemoration of the Church’s 112th anniversary.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Tumanan emphasized the need to join the true Church Of Christ as doing so is not only necessary but also a requirement to attain salvation on Judgment Day.     

Ryssa Rose Bacusmo, a guest from the Ozamiz Congregation, shared what she learned from the study of God’s words: “One needs to belong to the Church Of Christ, for it is the true path that leads to salvation. I have also learned that we should give importance to the teachings because all of them are for our benefit and lead us closer to God.”

“We thank the Lord God for the success of this activity,” expressed Brother Eleazar Ducusin, district Light of Salvation overseer, on behalf of the brethren. “Despite the inclement weather, the brethren went the extra mile to invite as many people as they could. The house of worship was filled with guests.”

Few days leading up to the evangelical mission, brethren from all the local congregations invited their friends and relatives by giving them copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine.

Nimrod Timagos Sr., a deacon from the Calamba Congregation, said, “Even though we have livelihoods to attend to, we made time for this despite being busy because helping in God’s work is pleasing to our Lord God.
