KADIWA members from the Local Congregation of San Juan De Mata in the Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac participated in a Fun Walk held on June 13, 2026.
Local KADIWA president, Laila Rose Sapad, explained that this activity “helps the brethren foster the love of brotherhood while taking care of their physical health.”
As early as 6:00 in the morning, the youth members gathered at the Tarlac Recreational Park in San Jose, Tarlac.
The event began with a prayer followed by the briefing on the activity’s mechanics by Brother Joshua Alcantara, ministerial worker.
The participants were challenged to complete three laps around the track-and-field oval within 30 minutes. Afterwards, everyone was given medals and certificates of participation.
“I felt excited when I heard that this activity will be held for it is another opportunity to bond with my fellow KADIWA members, and most of all, to give glory to God,” shared Rhon Xyrus Tomas, choir member.
“I was happy and energized after the activity,” Glenda Esteban expressed through sign language. “I enjoyed walking with our brethren, and I felt that I was never left out.”
“[Through] these kinds of activities, the youth of the Church, especially the KADIWA, will be able to meet together, get to know each other on a personal level, and learn not only to take care of their bodies which they need in serving our Almighty God,” explained Brother Alcantara. — With reports from Christian Miranda
