As a way of commemorating the birthday of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo this coming October 31, 2025, the Ecclesiastical District of Marikina, Philippines, held an evangelical mission at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Parang almost two weeks prior, on October 19, 2025. A total of 547 guests attended the evangelical mission.
Assistant district supervising minister Brother Ariel F. Ernie led the study of God’s words. He explained the biblical proofs that Judgment Day, which is also Christ’s Second Advent, is so very near. Thus, all people should prepare for that day for except God, no one knows exactly when it will be. More importantly, the Lord Jesus Christ reserves a reward for those who eagerly wait for His return—salvation. However, not all people will be blessed on that day, Brother Ernie clarified, other than the true servants, who joined and remained inside Christ’s fold or flock—the Church Of Christ.
Among the guests were Catholics Leoncia Manaag and Roberto Grafil. “I am happy attending this activity of the Church Of Christ. The preaching was clear. The minister read the answers from the Bible,” said Manaag. “The Iglesia Ni Cristo is very different from other religions, from its teachings to its orderliness,” said Grafil. They both expressed willingness to continue listening to the teachings upheld by the Church Of Christ.
It was F. Manalo-Marikina Congregation deaconess and finance officer Rowena Bernales who has been instrumental in inviting and bringing along Manaag and Grafil. Bernales shared her zeal: “I’m busy sustaining my family’s daily needs, but I always prioritize the works for the Lord. I always allot time to help in the work of propagation so that more people will know about the true service and worship of God.” — With reports from Claidenn Villar and Joel Dela Cruz
