A total of 2,469 guests attended the evangelical missions that the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon, in the Philippines, organized on November 28, 2023. These were simultaneously held at ten houses of worship, that of the Local Congregations of Agdangan, Binahaan, Dalahican, Lucban, Lucena City, Mauban, Padre Burgos, Pagbilao, Tayabas, and Unisan.
Brother Joel Santiago, assistant district supervising minister, led the evangelistic activity at Lucena City Congregation house of worship; his fellow ministers of the gospel at other aforementioned houses of worship. They expounded on the biblical teachings about the true God, the true state of nature of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the importance of being active members of the true Church.
“The teaching that made an impression to me is the truth that our Lord Jesus Christ is man in His state of nature, and that He is our mediator to the Lord Father,” said a guest named Felicisimo Fernandez who attended the occasion at Lucena City. “Before, I believed in false doctrines. Now, I want to know more about the truth, which is why I will continue examining the biblical teachings in the Church Of Christ.”
Edna Cabugwas, an active Buklod member from the Local Congregation of Dalahican, was able to invite more than 20 guests. “With God’s help I was able to invite them. I truly hope that they and more people will recognize and serve our Lord God for them to receive salvation on Judgment Day,” she said. — With reports from John Irvin Eballa of INC News Section
