From the second week of March to that of April 2026, the Ecclesiastical District of Texas conducted a series of propagation activities, including evangelical missions, Pasugo: God’s Message distribution drives, and baptism.

Evangelical missions

“The evangelical missions held in every local congregation were aimed at intensifying the propagation efforts in our district,” Brother Daven B. Domine, district Light of Salvation overseer, explained, “so that the brethren here would all the more be inspired to find those people whom they would invite and encourage to listen to the biblical doctrines upheld in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).”

Held in the local congregations’ respective houses of worship, the monthlong series of evangelical missions began with that of the Humble Local Congregation held on March 13, 2026. The local congregations of Austin and Killeen carried out the propagation activity the following week, on March 20, and Alvin and Houston a week later, on March 27.

On April 3, the safety officers of every local congregation joined hands to spearhead the evangelical mission held at the Killeen Congregation’s worship building, which was livestreamed to other sites, including respective homes of brethren in the San Antonio and Universal City congregations.

Closing the evangelical mission series were the local congregations of Edinburg and Corpus Christi, on April 10.

“I found the evangelical mission interesting because everything that was taught came directly from the Bible,” said a guest named Adam Saucedo, who attended at Corpus Christi. “So I’m interested in attending more Bible studies like this.”

Pasugo distribution drive

On March 29, members of every local congregation in the district took part in the distribution of Pasugo magazines in their neighborhood as well as public places.

For instance, brethren from the Austin Congregation handed out copies of the Church’s official magazine at the Mueller Lake Park in the City of Austin in Texas, USA. Reymond Rillera, head deacon, said “My family and I united in this activity especially as the Church Administration calls for us to excel in the work of sharing the true faith through different means, including the Church’s official publication.” He added, “Through our congregation’s efforts, we hope many more people will come to the knowledge of the truth about salvation in the Iglesia Ni Cristo.”

Baptism

Reaping the fruits of brethren’s propagation efforts for the past few months ago, the leadership of their district administered a baptism on March 22, 2026 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Humble.

Brother Teodorico S. Samson Jr., assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the gathering of the baptismal candidates before their actual baptism during which they received further religious instruction. Afterwards, “Welcome, My Brethren” activity was held for the new Church members.

“In the Lutheran Church, which is my former religion, the answers to my questions didn’t really come from the Bible but from opinions, whereas here in the Iglesia Ni Cristo, all the doctrines and whatever I asked any minister comes from the Bible,” said newly baptized Louis Garcia II. “I will do my best for my family to also become members of the Church Of Christ as well.”

Finance officer from the Houston Congregation, Judith Severa, who was instrumental in Louis’s conversion into the Church, said, “God has answered my prayer that I be His instrument as He calls more people to the Church Of Christ. I vow to continue to be active in the work of propagation because I want to always please God.”

Household evangelical missions

The district-wide aforementioned propagation efforts were complemented by the local congregations’ continuous holding of household evangelical missions.

In one of these, district supervising minister Brother Noel C. Caritativo, led the Bible study. This was held on April 11 at the residence of Edbert Agarano, deacon in the Austin Congregation.

On that occasion, 17 guests benefited from the preaching of God’s words, some of whom expressed interest in continuing to listen to the basic Bible doctrines upheld in the Church Of Christ.

Speaking on behalf of the district, Brother Caritativo promised, “From the ministers, ministerial workers, and Church officers down to the brethren in our district, we will be united with the Church Administration in the intensified works of propagation for the glory of God.”
