Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Rizal East in the Philippines, united in sharing the faith through evangelical missions in their respective houses of worship on May 1, 2026.

On the morning of the said date, brethren went out to the streets and gave copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine and invitations to residents. Later that day, brethren returned to the houses of worship with their respective guests to attend the evangelical missions officiated at by their resident ministers and ministerial workers.

In the Local Congregation of Cardona, Brother Arnel Macatangay, district supervising minister, officiated at the said evangelistic activity. Citing verses from the Bible, he pointed out that because of their sins, people were separated from God, became His enemies, and were doomed to be punished on Judgment Day. In order to be saved from perdition, the attendees were taught to repent from their sins and to return to God. Those who return to God follow His will to be united in the Lord Jesus Christ by becoming parts of His body—the Church Of Christ.

Gracelle Panerio, a guest in the evangelical mission in Darangan Congregation officiated at by Brother Ricaredo Catalan Jr., resident minister, expressed that she was “thankful for being able to understand God’s words in a manner different from other religions—everything taught here is all based on God’s words written in the Bible.”

Also one of the guests in Darangan Congregation, Melita Ceniodoza, shared, “I can feel the genuine concern that the Church members have for me. They want me to be saved.”

Romeo Mallari, guest in Sampaloc Congregation, observed the same further stating, “There is no doubt that what was taught are not man-made teachings but the pure teachings of God that will bring man to salvation.” – With reports from Frisco Marquez, Elaine Grace Ramirez, and Madelene Calios
