Brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon West, in the Philippines, showed solidarity in the district-wide Pasugo distribution drive and evangelical missions on May 1, 2026. It was also their way of commemorating the birthday of Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the Deputy Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), that same day.
Led by the district leadership, resident ministers and ministerial workers, brethren from various local congregations handed out copies of Pasugo: God’s Message magazine as well as pamphlets to the residents in their respective areas.
A total of 17,372 copies were distributed, according to the district Light of Salvation (LOS) office. True enough, “the unity of the brethren during the Pasugo distribution was a success as many participated, and many Pasugo copies were distributed. To its recipients we’ve been able to introduce the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” said Pyrahnee Magsino, a finance officer from Tiaong Bulakin Extension.
Later that said day, the brethren brought together with them their guests to the evangelical missions held in their respective houses of worship. A total of 5,112 guests attended, according to the district LOS office.
Ministers constituting the district leadership, resident ministers, and ministerial workers led the proclamation of God’s words. District supervising minister, Brother Christopher Angeles, preached the pristine gospel in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Taguan.
They emphasized that the people who have a relationship with Christ are those inside His Church—the Church Of Christ. And being members of that Church is very important because they are the ones whom Christ redeemed or purchased with His precious blood and thus will certainly receive the promised salvation on Judgment Day.
“Faith—I firmly believe that it is God’s teaching to share the true faith with others. That’s what motivates me to help in the intensified work of propagating His words. It is also our duty to bear fruits of holiness to please the Lord God,” said Aisa Coro, a choir member from Concepcion Congregation.
“I want to continue listening to the teachings of the Church because I want to receive salvation,” said a guest by the name of Amelia Anim. — With reports from Rene Ven Blorio and Junel Jabrica
