“We wanted to extend the Church Administration’s care for the youth members by making them aware that their mental challenges are being addressed, and that they can triumph over these with a healthy environment, among others, without breaking God’s laws,” shared Daniela Chen H. Abrasaldo, Navy Congregation’s KADIWA president.

The Christian Family Organizations (CFO) in the Local Congregation of Navy launched an activity aimed at nurturing one’s mental health. With the theme “Faith as Your Mindset,” Church officers prepared interactive booths geared to nurture in the attendees’ resilience, patience, and positive outlook, among others, grounded in the words of God written in the Bible and taught by the Church Administration. The activity was held at the basement of Navy Congregation’s house of worship in Capas, Tarlac District on June 12, 2026.

Besides those from the aforementioned congregation, KADIWA and Binhi members from Page Village and Zarate were also present during the activity.

The activity commenced with Brother Prince M. Solis, regular ministerial worker, leading the prayer. Afterwards, Roel R. Dela Cruz, KADIWA officer, relayed to the attendees guidelines to maximize the benefit of the interactive booths.

One of the booths was designed to help participants express their appreciation for specific persons in their life because of having a positive impact to them. Another booth was setup so that the brethren can express their current emotion, vent out unspoken problems by means of color and art, among others.

Another booth had written instructions so that attendees can reflect on their past struggles and then focus on how they overcame those through their trust in God.

Before the activity ended, those in attendance were encouraged to seek guidance, especially through the district counseling office, for their mental challenges. Brother Gino S. Franco, Navy Congregation’s resident ministerial worker, delivered his closing remarks and led the prayer.

“It’s all worth it, from the planning stage, researching, to the execution, because we truly saw the benefit it brought to our fellow youth members,” expressed Ashley Kate C. Laxamana, KADIWA officer. Local Binhi president, Axel Jazz C. Tabliago, added, “We are truly grateful to the Church Administration for their support and guidance to us in doing this activity.”

“To have this opportunity where we can feel all the love we need and the listening ears for our challenges, this truly is impactful to our lives,” expressed Rolly I. Santiago, KADIWA member. He added, “Thanks to our dear Brother Eduardo V. Manalo and Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, for we truly feel their concern for us and our entire well-being.”
