More prospective members in the Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac received baptism on January 11, 2025. The said baptismal gathering was held in commemoration of the 100th birth anniversary of the then Executive Minister, Brother Eraño G. Manalo (1925-2009).

Brother Bhel John Ubaldo, the district supervising minister, officiated at the holy occasion that was conducted at the house of worship of Aguso Local Congregation. During the homily, Brother Ubaldo emphasized that receiving baptism in the true Church means becoming a true servant of God, being forgiven of his sins, and being counted worthy to attain salvation on the Day of Judgment. After the homily, the candidates for baptism took their oath of membership. They were then baptized.

“I thank God for calling me in the Church,” enthused Kenneth Punzalan, a newly baptized member from the Local Congregation of Victoria. “I promise to safeguard my membership no matter what happens so I can receive the promised eternal life on Judgment Day,” he added.

Alba Bondoc, another newly baptized member from San Isidro Congregation, expressed, “I’m truly grateful to God for allowing me to receive baptism. I’m now officially a member of the Church, and I commit to staying faithful until the end, striving to be worthy of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.”

Brother Dexter Jereza, the district Light of Salvation overseer, expressed, “The brethren in our district are filled with joy, as their efforts in the work of propagation have borne fruit.” He further said, “Led by our supervising minister, brethren in our district will continue sharing the news of salvation.” — With reports from Christian Miranda and Armanda Briñosa of INC News Section
