Brethren from the Butuan City Congregation in the Ecclesiastical District of Agusan del Norte gathered at the Dotties Place Hotel, in Butuan City, Philippines, to celebrate their congregation’s 75th milestone anniversary through an INConcert, on June 14, 2026.

The program formally began with an opening prayer led by Brother Rhyz David Ilogon, a ministerial worker. This was followed by the reading of the message from the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, by Brother Nicanor Bernardo Jr., district supervising minister. Thereafter, select talented brethren from various Christian Family Organizations and Church departments rendered performances featuring Iglesia Ni Cristo original music.

Also part of the program was an audio-visual presentation about the pioneers of the local congregation, whose faith has remained steadfast through the years. The program concluded with a closing prayer led by Brother Junry Betaizar, resident ministerial worker, following the final performance, during which all the performers sang Hindi ka pababayaan ng Diyos (God will never leave you).

“I am truly grateful to the Lord God for His guidance and blessings upon our congregation throughout the years. It brings me great joy to witness and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Butuan City Congregation. This milestone reminds us of God’s unwavering help and inspires us to remain steadfast in giving glory and honor to Him,” enthused Mercides Monton, 75, one of the pioneers of the local congregation.

“We thank the Lord God for His abiding love and grace upon our congregation. Seventy-five years have not been easy; the congregation has weathered many obstacles. But despite this, through the help of the Lord God, the congregation has flourished,” said Brother Betaizar, on behalf of all the brethren. “As we continue marching towards salvation, we promise to hold firmly to our faith and to always submit to the Church Administration so we may attain salvation when the Lord Jesus Christ returns,” he added. — With reports from Kiesha Forrosuelo and Michael Calo
