Romblon cleans coastal areas

On January 18, 2020, Church members from the Local Congregations of Alcantara and Eastern-Tablas Island, Ecclesiastical District of Romblon went to the coastside of Barangay Poblacion, Alcantara, Philippines and joined efforts in conducting a coastal clean-up drive.
The KADIWA officers spearheaded the event. As it was a Saturday, they made good use of their day-off from work and school. They said that through this activity, they reunited and bonded with their friends and acquaintances.
Others who were also interviewed said they found this Church endeavor a rejuvenating activity for they were able to unite with the Church Administration and also for being instrumental in maintaining the environment’s cleanliness. — With reports from INC News Section
Taiwan brethren donate blood

Despite a cold and rainy weather on January 19, 2020, Iglesia Ni Cristo members from the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan participated in a blood donation that was held at the Peace Park, Taipei City, Taiwan.
Officers of the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN), in cooperation with the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation, spearheaded the activity.
The brethren eagerly flocked at the venue. After medical screening, qualified donors happily donated blood. Their talk with the volunteer nurses reminded the donors the health benefits of giving blood not only for the would-be recipients but also for them who donated. — With reports from INC News Section

Canada brethren send relief to Mt. Taal victims

Even though they were miles away, young brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba, Canada united together on January 13 to 15, 2020 to gather available face masks in their respective cities and towns and donated them to the victims of Taal Volcano eruption in the Philippines.
With assistance from the Church Administration through the Ecclesiastical District of Batangas in the Philippines, Church members from Canada were able to send their aid with their well wishes and the care packages that reached the beneficiaries.
As what they have seen from the news, brethren from Canada said that the Taal victims are in dire need of these protective masks due to the heavy ash fall brought about by the volcanic eruption which not only has damaged houses, livestock, and other means of living but also poses a great threat to the health of nearby residents there.
The brethren from Manitoba, Canada said they will continue to help those in need. — With reports from INC News Section
