Even though they were miles away, young brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba, Canada united together on January 13 to 15, 2020 to gather available face masks in their respective cities and towns and donated them to the victims of Taal Volcano eruption in the Philippines.
With assistance from the Church Administration through the Ecclesiastical District of Batangas in the Philippines, Church members from Canada were able to send their aid with their well wishes and the care packages that reached the beneficiaries.
As what they have seen from the news, brethren from Canada said that the Taal victims are in dire need of these protective masks due to the heavy ash fall brought about by the volcanic eruption which not only has damaged houses, livestock, and other means of living but also poses a great threat to the health of nearby residents there.
The brethren from Manitoba, Canada said they will continue to help those in need. — With reports from INC News Section
