In unity with the Church Administration, the Ecclesiastical District of Spain on October 11 to 12, 2026 conducted a series of edification activities aimed at further strengthening the faith of the brethren under its care.

Church members and officers, young and old alike, attended the activities that respectively catered for them, namely, the Binhi Fun and Friendship Day, KADIWA Formal, special gathering of choir members, and INC Unity Games.

Binhi Fun and Friendship Day

Members of the Binhi organization from various local congregations of the district gathered at the function hall of the Barcelona Congregation’s house of worship on October 11 for their Fun and Friendship Day.

Daniel Llagas III, Binhi district vice president, led the opening prayer and delivered the opening remarks. Afterwards, the attendees, divided into groups, participated in an arts and crafts activity learning and working together to make flowers using strips of pipe cleaners. They also enjoyed playing Ball Shooting and Name That Song game featuring Iglesia Ni Cristo original music.

The activity concluded with the closing remarks of Brother Gilbert Aniciete, assistant district supervising minister. He reminded the youth members of the importance of obeying God’s commandments and strengthening their Christian bond with fellow brethren through mutual support and genuine friendship.

“I participated in this activity to spend time with my fellow Binhi members and strengthen our friendship. I’ve had a lot of fun,” said Reyniel Barcebal, Children’s Worship Service officer from Ibiza Congregation.

Carla Rose Mateu, Binhi officer from Barcelona Congregation, said, “This activity has greatly inspired me. It taught me how to socialize with others and understand them. Furthermore, it strengthened my faith.”

KADIWA Formal

Meanwhile, an hour earlier that same day, the KADIWA Formal of unmarried brethren ages 18 and up was held at the Pato Pekin Restaurant at Torre Mapfre, Carrer de la Marina, Barcelona, Spain.

The activity commenced with a prayer led by Brother Jejun Fred Raña, resident minister of Lisbon, Portugal GWS. Brother Froilan C. Enriquez Jr., district supervising minister, then gave the opening remarks.

This was followed by the musical performance of KADIWA members from Barcelona and Madrid Congregations. They showcased their rendition of the INC original music “Share It With The World.”

Afterwards, the attendees participated in the interactive games such as Fast Talk, KADIWA Trivia, and You Guess. After the games, KADIWA district officers performed their rendition of “I Have You.” Then, Brother Ezekiel Silva, district Christian Family Organizations overseer, delivered his closing remarks and led the closing prayer.

“This activity aims to strengthen the brotherhood and unity among the brethren in various congregations in our district. This is also an opportunity to know each other better, share delightful moments, and foster brotherly love,” said Kelly Raniel Pring, KADIWA district president.

“Thank you so much to the Church Administration for organizing this kind of activity for us,” said Rania Obra, KADIWA officer from Madrid Sur Congregation. “I’m so happy being able to share moments together with my fellow KADIWA brethren. Although we are from different congregations, through this activity, we remain united by one faith,” she added.

Choir members’ special gathering

The next day, October 12, choir members throughout the district received spiritual upliftment during their special gathering that was held at the house of worship of Barcelona Congregation.

Officiating minister, Brother Enriquez, reminded the choir members how important their duty in the Church is, so they must fulfill it come what may, ever standing firm in the faith especially now that the day of salvation is very near.

After the homily, Brother Armando Yacat, district Church officers overseer, administered the oath-taking of new choir members.

Joan San Martin, choir member from Lisbon, Portugal GWS, traveled for 14 hours to reach the venue of the special gathering. She enthused, “I’m overwhelmed with joy being able to attend this sacred gathering. The biblical teachings we received have inspired us to fulfill our duty in leading the brethren in singing hymns of praises to the Lord God.”

“I will always love and value my duty in the Church. Whatever may happen, I will never forsake my sacred obligation. I will fulfill my duty until the end of my life,” said Gervin Rovelo, organist from Madrid Sur Congregation.
