The Ecclesiastical District of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro commemorated a decade of God’s abounding love and grace through an INConcert and special gathering held on August 9 and 14, 2026, respectively.

INConcert

Held at the Innovative College of Science and Technology Gymnasium, the event commenced with a prayer led by Brother Joseph Feting, district Light of Salvation overseer. After the prayer, Brother Rodel G. Mañebog, district supervising minister, read the message of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.

In his letter, the Executive Minister exhorted the brethren to earnestly thank God for His guidance and successes that He continues to bestow the district for 10 years now. Brother Eduardo Manalo also encouraged the brethren to remain zealous in their services to God to be worthy of receiving His promise of salvation.

Then, the attendees were serenaded by Iglesia Ni Cristo Production Company (INCPC) talents and select brethren from the district with their musical performances featuring INC original music.

Among the songs performed were Gawa Ng Diyos Ang Tagumpay (Victory Is God’s Work), Ganyan Tayo Sa Loob Ng Iglesia Ni Cristo (That’s How We Are Inside The Church Of Christ), Ilagak Ang Pag-asa Sa Biyayang Darating (Put Your Hope To The Grace That Will Be Yours), Anuman Ang Mangyari Maglingkod Tayo Sa Diyos Upang Tamuhin Ang Kaligtasan (No Matter What Happens, Let Us Serve God So We Will Attain Salvation), Salamat At Naglagay Ka Ng Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan (Thank You Father For You Have Placed An Executive Minister), Tutupad Pa Rin (We Will Still Perform The Duty), and In His Hands.

Between performances, the attendees watched audiovisual presentations featuring the history of their district and various activities held during its 10 years of existence.

The event concluded with a prayer led by Brother Randy Alcontin, district edification overseer.

“I’m overflowing with happiness, for I’ve been a part of this celebration,” enthused Cloi Castro, choir member and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from Bansud Congregation.

“This kind of activity intensifies the zeal of the brethren and edifies their faith. This inspires them to continue on their services to the Lord God, whatever trials and hardships they may face, to be assured of receiving the promised salvation,” attested Brother Mañebog.

Special gathering

On August 14, two days before their 10th anniversary, the brethren from various congregations attended a special gathering commemorating their district’s milestone anniversary.

The house of worship of the Local Congregation of Bongabong served as the host site. The event’s proceedings were beamed live to nine remote sites.

To lead the said gathering, the Church Administration sent Brother Arnel R. Canicosa, the president of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers. In his Bible-based homily, he emphasized that true members of the Church Of Christ are spiritually mature and they level up in faith. They are the ones who are always willing to obey all of God’s commandments, whatever the situation is.

“We are thankful to the Lord God for our district has reached its 10th anniversary. Receiving the words of God taught in this gathering is a great blessing. God’s words edified our faith even more and made us always united with the Church Administration,” enthused Ada Teñoso, deaconess from Bongabong Congregation.

On behalf of the brethren, Brother Mañebog said, “We promise that we will remain firm in the faith and zealous in our services to the Lord God. We will always participate in all of the activities launched by the Church Administration.” — With reports from Nikko Delos Angeles
