As part of their intensified efforts in the work of propagation, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Local Congregation of Los Angeles, Ecclesiastical District of Los Angeles County, California, invited guests to an evangelical mission on June 28, 2026; 147 guests attended the activity held at their house of worship.

Brother Andrew Macadangdang, one of the ministerial workers assigned in the district, attested, “What we can see here in the brethren is their complete unity with the Church Administration. Everyone was eager to take part. Through the guidance of the Church Administration and, above all, God’s mercy, we were blessed to bring more guests than we had expected.”

Brother Artemio T. Pilon Jr., district supervising minister, preached the pristine words of God, emphasizing that the worsening conditions around the world are among the signs that Judgment Day is truly near. He explained that, while there is still time, people should strive to become members of the true Church so they can serve and worship the true God and, most importantly, attain the hope of eternal life.

This is one of the reasons Manel Platon, a deaconess, invites other people so they, too, could learn the truth that leads to salvation. She said, “As a member of the Church, I feel a responsibility to share my faith especially during these trying times. So, seeing my guest in the chapel listening to the words of God is fulfilling. I hope that he will eventually be called into the Church.”

A guest, Anthony Honoré, expressed his happiness at being invited once again to the evangelical mission. He shared, “Living in this world is pretty challenging. So, after hearing the message, I think we need to spread the message of salvation to everyone.”

Mariebeth Tagle, a choir member, invited Jessie Perez and his family to the evangelical mission. As first-time attendees, they were overwhelmed by the warm welcome extended to them by the brethren. Speaking on behalf of his family, Jessie shared, “We felt welcomed with open arms, and the way you organized the event was very comforting for us. We were able to connect more with God. It reminds us that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for everyone, no matter what.”

After the evangelical mission, the guests were treated to musical performances by talented Church members from various Christian Family Organizations at the chapel compound. — With reports from District Multimedia
