To celebrate its 93rd anniversary, the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan South, in the Philippines held an activity called CFO LIVE in which brethren of all ages enjoyed participating. It was held at the Vista Mall at Balanga, Bataan on October 5, 2025.

District supervising minister Brother Melvin Cayabyab graced the event with his presence. It commenced with a prayer led by district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Jomiel Gatchalian.

“As we celebrate our district’s anniversary, we thank our Lord God for His constant love and guidance in our district,” Brother Gatchalian said in an interview later. “This CFO LIVE was approved by the Church Administration with the purpose of maintaining strong bonds among Church Of Christ families in our district to thereby strengthen them in the faith.”

After the prayer, the brethren were treated to a solo and group performances and band presentations of INC original songs.

“It’s so overwhelming to showcase my talent during our district’s anniversary celebration. I thank the Lord God for this opportunity,” said band vocalist Kristian Calixtro from the Palayanbayan Congregation.

The brethren and their families then went around to enjoy and appreciate the interactive and entertainment booths mounted by the CFO district officers. The booths carried themes such as Binhi Friendship Day, CBI Unity Camp, CWS Fun & Games, and This is Kadiwa.

“I was overjoyed and grateful [for being able to take part in our district’s anniversary celebration,” said Binhi district president Kleigh Zaizy Lucena who was from Alangan Congregation. “God’s love is truly manifested in our district.”

Established on September 29, 1932, Bataan South District is one of the two districts in the province of Bataan. The other one, also named Bataan, sprang forth from the aforementioned district on December 13, 2023 as the Church continues its expansion in the said province. — With reports from Paula Janine Dimaculangan of INC News Section
