Five local congregations and a Group Worship Service (GWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Oregon united for the success of a musical evangelical mission held on September 28, 2025.

Members from the Portland, Beaverton, Vancouver, and Hillsboro congregations and the Saint Helens GWS brought their guests to the function hall of The Heathman Lodge, 7801 NE Greenwood Drive, Vancouver City, Washington, USA.

Those from the Boise, Idaho Congregation, being seven hours away from the venue, attended the event with their guests at their place of worship’s function hall, which was connected to the main site via livestreaming.

After a prayer led by district chronicler Brother Albertson Macalintal, district supervising minister Brother Moises C. Kadusale gave the opening remarks. Quoting the Bible, he relayed the importance of singing hymns of praise, being expected by God. He then encouraged everyone in attendance to enjoy the event, especially God’s will that would be conveyed.

Musically inclined brethren rendered Iglesia Ni Cristo original songs, such as Come With Me, Anchors Down, I Will Always Choose You, I’ll Hold On Tightly To My Hope, Still Blessed by God, Let’s Not Worry, Ilagak ang Pag-Asa sa Biyayang Darating (Put Your Hope To The Grace That Will Be Yours), and The Hope, several of which were shown as song-and-dance presentation.

To further make known God’s words, which are the inspiration of these songs, the lyrics were flashed to the screen, thereby not only uplifting but also prompting the audience to join in singing.

In between some performances, video presentations were displayed that complimented well with the songs following it. Shown prior to the song “Enlightened” was the inspiring story of a young member of the Church who, being guided by God’s words taught in worship services, was and is continuously making the right decisions towards her bright future.

Prior to the song “God Works for the Good of Those who Love Him,” some brethren who came from different religions were featured. They shared their experiences that led to their conversion into the true Christian faith.

Many guests expressed willingness to learn more about the Church. Among them, a guest of brethren from the Vancouver Congregation by the name Tammy Brattin, said, “I really enjoyed the performances. I was impressed at how talented everyone was. I loved the lyrics. I will continue to attend Church activities in the future.” — With assistance from Geraldine Langit
