Local congregation chroniclers from the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite South, in the Philippines, participated in a museum tour on April 26, 2025. After a prayer at the New Era Congregation house of worship, their assembly point, they traveled by bus to the INC Museum, in Quezon City.
The tour not only fostered a stronger bond among the chroniclers but also provided them “historical knowledge about the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) and offer valuable insights for chronicling Church events,” it became doubly special “for the aspiring chroniclers who will take their oath of office in May 2025,” said district chronicler overseer Brother Niko Moncada.
“It feels as though I am going back to the early years of the Church,” said Kathleen Luminario from the Imus Congregation. “I’m very happy to be part of this activity. It is truly overwhelming to see the INC Museum—not just the building itself, but also the way the Church’s history is beautifully presented inside,” she added.
“During our tour, I truly felt the love and blessings of the Lord God for His Church. Despite intense persecutions, the Church continues to grow and thrive. This experience has deeply inspired me to fulfill my duty devotedly,” expressed Keisam Bautista from the Amadeo Local Congregation.
After the museum tour, the delegates attended a worship service at the Local Congregation of the Templo Central.
“Today’s event has truly edified our faith. It has created wonderful memories and left a lasting lesson for every one of us. On my part, I promise to wholeheartedly fulfill my duty and ensure that the history of the Church is preserved and passed down to future generations. Thank God and the Church Administration for nurturing my spiritual fervor,” said Edrichel Abadies from Trece Martires City Congregation.
