The Wiesbaden Local Congregation held its inaugural worship service on October 5, 2024 with Central Europe Ecclesiastical District supervising minister Brother Joel Catalan officiating.
“Indeed, God’s work will always flourish,” enthused Brother Catalan. “We are so grateful that the Church Administration approved our request. Our Lord God has heard the prayers of the brethren here to be organized as a local congregation.”
In his Bible-preaching, Brother Catalan reminded the brethren why prioritizing the worship service is a must especially in times of hardships: God is the One Who blesses His true servants who worship and obey Him come what may.
“In times of challenges, I firmly believe that I can always rely on God to help me,” said Lucy Turinski, deaconess. “Our Father is truly loving. He has heard our prayers; His answer truly renewed our zeal. I will strive to be of further help to our congregation,” she added.
After the preaching was the oath-taking of new officers, Turinski included, to address the growing needs of the newly established congregation.
Formerly a group worship service (GWS), the newest local congregation is roughly 40 kilometers from the district office in Frankfurt, Germany. Its place of worship is located at Wiesbadener, Landstrasse 16, Hessen State, Wiesbaden. Its first resident minister is Brother Stephan Schielmann. — With assistance from Eva-Marie Krause
