Approximately 8,000 copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine were distributed in various places in the Philippine’s capital, Manila, through the united efforts of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Manila during their Pasugo Drive between July 26 to 28, 2024.

Officers and members of the Buklod and Christian Employees Association (CEA), took the lead in handing over copies of the Pasugo on the first day; the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers on the last day. The highlight of the activity was that held on July 27, being the exact 110th anniversary of the Church.

Brethren from all local congregations in the district actively participated in sharing their faith at respective assigned venues, thus making sure the Church’s magazine will be able to reach out to people in different walks of life.

“The giving of the Pasugo magazine is essential as it reaches people who can’t yet attend Church gatherings in person. Prior to their actual listening to biblical teachings the Church upholds, they can first read these in the Pasugo and know more about the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” Brother Joselito Salas, district Light of Salvation overseer, explained.

“I regard my duty to share my faith as a blessing and honor because saving people by guiding them to the true Church is a sacred obligation for a true Christian,” enthused Siegfred Manaois, district CEA vice president, from the Local Congregation of Binondo. “Bringing people to the true faith is a task that every member should strive for and dedicate time to, as it pleases God.”

“I’m curious about the Pasugo magazine that was given to me,” said Wal Ann Yumol, a nonmember who received a Pasugo copy from Brother Manaois. “I read it immediately. It’s beneficial for me because I learned that the teachings of the Church Of Christ are from the Bible.” — With assistance from Bernard Martinez
