As the entire New Zealand is placed under Alert Level 1, no limit is imposed upon the “number of people who can attend a social gathering or event or enter a public facility” (covid19.govt.nz). Thankful for the opportunity to gather, yet mindful of the health protocols, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members continue to help share the true faith.
On May 24, 2021, choir members all over the Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand did their part as they spearheaded the inviting of guests to listen to the words of God. They invited their loved ones and friends in an evangelical mission held in the house of worship of Auckland Local Congregation, which served as the host site.
The preaching of God’s words by Brother Dennis Dahunan, district supervising minister, was streamed live to various remote sites in the district via videoconferencing. Guests, from the confines of their homes, were also able to witness the said evangelistic event through the link shared to them.
From the Holy Scriptures, Brother Dahunan highlighted the importance of the true service and worship of God through entering the one true Church—the Church Of Christ.
The timely biblical lesson delivered to the guests called the attention of many. Some have already decided to enlist themselves as Bible students to further study the teachings that the Church upholds.
The choir members, in response to the call of the Church Administration, promised to continue to work diligently in spreading the Good News and bringing as many people as they can in the true Church to attain the promised salvation. — With reports from INC News Section
