Reaping the fruits of the brethren’s efforts in sharing the true faith to many people, the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan saw an increase in membership as baptisms of new converts to the true Christian faith were regularly held.
The most recent took place on January 28, 2022 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Saitama.
During the study of God’s words prior to the baptism proper, Brother Manny Benedicto, the district supervising minister, emphasized to the baptismal candidates the great blessings that await those who will receive the true baptism inside the Church Of Christ. He pointed out to them that such blessings include having the right to render the proper worship of God, and most importantly, receiving salvation on Judgment Day.
“Despite the unusual circumstances happening in the world, the brethren here in our district remain active in serving God. They continue to spread His words so that more people will be saved come the Day of Judgment,” said Brother Benedicto in an interview after the sacred occasion.
One of the two districts in the country, the ecclesiastical district centered in Tokyo consists of 28 local congregations and three group worship services (GWS). — With reports from INC News Section
