In a span of two weeks, the Ecclesiastical District of Texas held two district-wide propagation activities: baptism and distribution of Pasugo: God’s Message magazines.

Baptism

On August 22, 2026, the district held a baptism in the house of worship of the Humble Congregation, officiated at by Brother Teodorico S. Samson Jr., assistant district supervising minister.

During his homily, Brother Samson emphasized to the candidates for baptism that being a member of the Church Of Christ is a great blessing from God. Thus, after receiving their baptism, they must make sure to safeguard their membership.

“Now that I have been baptized into the Church Of Christ, I have the responsibility to renew my life and live in holiness, so that I may attain salvation,” said Mohamad Habbal, a newly baptized member from the Houston Congregation.

After the baptism proper, all the newly baptized were formally introduced to the brethren in the district through a Welcome, My Brethren activity.

Pasugo distribution

The following weekend, August 29 and 30, brethren from every local congregation gave copies of the Pasugo magazines around the neighborhood of the houses of worship and other designated venues.

“As members of the Church Of Christ, we have been instructed by the Lord Jesus Christ to preach the gospel to all people. So that is what we did here in our district. We went to different places in our respective local congregations to give our copies of the Pasugo magazine,” said Brother Daven B. Domine, district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer.

As a result of this activity, more than 500 people received copies of the Pasugo magazine, many of whom were invited to attend the worship services held inside the Church.

“I made sure to be included in this activity, as it is the duty of all Church members to share the true faith. Giving out Pasugo is an effective way of doing so, especially that it contains articles which discuss about the doctrines we uphold in the Church Of Christ,” said Will Sansom, LOS president of the San Antonio Congregation.
