In commemoration of the 112th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the Ecclesiastical District of Texas held simultaneous evangelical missions in all local congregations on July 27, 2026.
“Through evangelical missions like this, we show our unity with the Church Administration in the intensified work of propagation, especially on the actual day of the anniversary of the Church,” said Brother Daven B. Domine, district light of salvation overseer.
Resident ministers, among others, officiated the evangelical missions at their respective houses of worship, except at that of the local congregations of Edinburg and Austin, which were officiated at by district supervising minister, Brother Noel C. Caritativo, and assistant district supervising minister, Brother Teodorico S. Samson Jr., respectively.
The ministers emphasized through a Bible-based lesson that it is the will of the Almighty God for all people to be saved by learning about and believing in the truths written in the Bible. One of the truths taught in the Scriptures is that anyone who comes into the flock—the Church Of Christ—will be saved. This the Lord Jesus Christ Himself proclaimed.
“I like the way the ministers in the Iglesia Ni Cristo present the truth from the Bible—no opinion—just what is written in the Bible,” conveyed Loreta Quinto, a guest who attended in the Austin Congregation.
“Here in the Church Of Christ, each time the minister teaches, he reads from the Bible and so I am convinced that it is the truth. This is truly important for salvation,” said Cathy Casey, 71, who attended in the Edinburg Congregation, and has decided to continue listening to the teachings of the Church Of Christ.
Prior to the evangelical mission, many brethren in the Texas District handed out Pasugo: God’s Message magazines to their prospective guests.
“Through sharing our faith, more people are given the opportunity to hear God’s words and receive salvation,” said Brooklyn Ataiza, choir member from the Houston Congregation, who successfully invited two of her co-workers to the evangelistic event. She added, “I will continue inviting my friends and co-workers to Bible studies and worship services.”
Speaking on behalf of the district, Brother Caritativo expressed, “The brethren here in the District of Texas are always one with the Church Administration in all holy endeavors, especially in the work of propagation. We know that this is pleasing to the Almighty God.” — With assistance from Texas District Multimedia
