Membership of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Ecclesiastical District of South Central States continue to flourish as more people were baptized on June 27, 2026. The baptism was held at the Local Congregation of Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Brother Andrey B. Silva, district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal gathering. During his Bible-based lesson, he taught the candidates for baptism not to waste the gift the Lord God has given them—the right to serve the true God and attain salvation on Judgment Day—a blessing that comes from being members of the true Church, the Church Of Christ.

After the homily, the would-be members took their oath of membership before their immersion in water.

Joshua Dale Green, one of the newly baptized and formerly a member of a Baptist Church, expressed, “What convinced me to join the Church Of Christ is its strict adherence to the Bible.”

He added, “The churches I previously attended deviated from what is truly written in the Holy Scriptures. The preachers mostly delivered inspirational speeches, but upon closer examination, what they were saying was contrary to the Bible. Thus, when I was invited to the Church Of Christ, I was surprised that the minister asked questions and answered them solely through the Bible. That is what I had been looking for in a Church. That is why I joined the Church Of Christ.”

In a separate interview, Brother Silva expressed his gratitude to the Lord God for the success of the activity and for His blessings and guidance upon the district. He further encouraged the brethren in the district to continue participating in the work of propagation, saying, “As a bridge for people to know the truth, may they continue to do their part in sharing the message of salvation so that more people may be saved on Judgment Day.”
