On seven dates in March and on April 5, 2026, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from various local congregations and group worship services (GWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Western Australia united in spreading the biblical message of the reason behind the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ. They did so by bringing along guests, who are their loved ones, acquaintances, and friends, to evangelical missions. Almost a hundred guests attended.
The evangelical missions were held at Cogee Community Hall (March 9), Dalwallinu Creative Arts Building (March 14), Queens Park Congregation place of worship (March 15), William Bertram Hall (March 22), Maddington Lesser Hall (March 24), Stirling Leisure-Balga Community Centre (March 30), Perth Congregation house of worship (March 31), and Fremantle Congregation house of worship (April 5).
In all eight activities, Brother Nolly Esperanza, district supervising minister, led the study of God’s words. He delivered a Bible-based lesson on why the Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed His life. The Savior Himself attests that those who truly benefited from His death are the members of His Church, aptly named the Church Of Christ, which He purchased with His blood.
“My experience attending this activity was good. All of the teachings taught aligned with the truth written in the Bible. I will continue listening,” said a guest named Stanely Anaud.
Anaud was invited by Junart Basbas from Stirling Congregation. “It felt good for close friends and relatives to hear the words of truth that we believe in the Church, and I’m also glad that I can help them to also be closer to God,” said Basbas.
“It’s good for my friends to also hear the truth like I did, so that they may know the one true God and hopefully be also part of the one true Church,” said Joebit Dacutanan, a newly baptized member from Stirling Congregation.
“Participating in the intensive work of propagation is our duty to fulfill, being our obedience to the commandment of our Lord God,” said Lovell Penalba, a deaconess from Mandurah GWS. It is the combination of faith, purpose, and responsibility that motivates us to have a genuine desire to share the truth we believe inside the Church Of Christ so that more people will have the chance to salvation. We want them to experience the same faith, hope, peace, and transformation we have found inside the Church Of Christ.” — With reports from Hannah Sharlene Leoncio
