To commemorate the 112th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the Ecclesiastical District of Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, conducted district-wide evangelical missions. The said evangelistic activities were held simultaneously in the houses of worship of all local congregations on July 31, 2026.

“We thank the Lord God as the brethren’s efforts were not in vain. A total of 1, 302 guests from across the district attended the evangelical missions and listened to the pristine words of God,” attested the district Light Of Salvation (LOS) overseer, Brother Rino Velayo.

Brother Rogelio Laplana Jr., district supervising minister, officiated at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Mahayag, while Brother Carlito Gonzales Jr., assistant district supervising minister, at that of the Local Congregation of San Pablo.

Other members of the district leadership, together with the respective resident ministers and ministerial workers of other local congregations, likewise had their share of preaching the gospel.

During the study of God’s words, they emphasized to the attendees what the Lord Jesus prescribes for salvation: enter and remain inside His fold or flock. In these last days, they also pointed out that it is the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). Only by doing so can they attain salvation on Judgment Day.

Sarah Jane Jumawan, one of the attendees who decided to enroll as a Bible student, said, “I truly admire how the ministers in the INC preach the words of God. They do not express their own opinions; instead, they teach directly from the Bible.”

Another guest, Guilan Rubio from the Guipos Congregation, stated, “I want to learn more about the biblical doctrines upheld by the INC, and I hope that through these studies I will gain a deeper understanding of the biblical truths concerning salvation.”

“We pray to our Almighty God that all the attendees understand and have faith in the truth about salvation,” enthused Brother Laplana.— With reports from Reynald Castillo
