The number of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) congregations across the UK and Ireland has continued to grow as a result of the intensified efforts of the brethren in propagating the pure gospel.
With God’s help, more people, after undergoing Bible studies and probation, were baptized into the true Church towards the end of January.
On January 30, Brother Glenn Gomez, the district supervising minister, led a baptism at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Battersea, London. In the homily, he emphasized to the baptismal candidates that as members of the true Church, they were expected by God to completely obey all His teachings in the Bible upheld by the Church.
Mark Lee Raddock, one of the newly baptized members from the Local Congregation of Manchester, shared how he was encouraged to join the Church. “When I finally learned about the Church Of Christ, I felt that I needed to explore this Church because I wanted to know more about the teachings of God,” he said. “I am very happy that I finally reached [the day of] my baptism. I am looking forward to serve the true God and attain salvation in the end.”
Just a day before, on January 29, 2022, Brother Allistair Cagnayo, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Dublin, led the baptism of prospective members from the Republic of Ireland in the congregation’s place of worship.
During the study of the words of God, he exhorted the baptismal candidates to hold on firmly to their faith and dedicate themselves to their divine election. By doing so, they can certainly receive the promised salvation on Judgment Day. — With reports from INC News Section
