Brethren from the Local Congregation of Temple Hills, Ecclesiastical District of Washington, D.C. aided the Indian Queen Elementary School and Panorama Elementary School in an INC Giving activity on June 14, 2020.
The activity was conducted in cooperation with the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, the Church’s charitable arm.
“Today we are giving out free face masks to the school of Indian Queen. We have our brethren from the Local Congregation of Temple Hills who are here to help supply the goods and the care packages,” Brother Matthew Capistrano, district supervising minister, stated.
“We would like to thank our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for always reminding all of us members of the Church Of Christ throughout the world to continue to do good to our fellowmen, which is the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ,” he added.
The Panorama Elementary School, a few miles away from the Indian Queen Elementary School, also benefited from the activity.
Dr. Patricia Frazier, the school’s principal, said, “We are very grateful [for the] washable masks that will support our community … masks that we can provide to our families and students who do not have them.” ― With reports from Archie Talens.
