On December 29, 2020, Church members from the Local Congregation of Diadi, Ecclesiastical District of Isabela South planted fruit-bearing and wood trees to help keep the environment green.
They planted a total of 250 seedlings of guyabano, rambutan, santol, coffee, and mahogany in Barangay Mariposa, Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines.
“When the brethren heard the news that we will be conducting this activity, they were so eager to unite with the Church Administration in conducting activities like this that is in accordance with God’s will,” Bryan Don Pobre, resident ministerial worker, said of the 180 or so brethren who participated.
Wilson Malvar, head deacon, said, “We will not stop doing good works. We firmly believe that through these … the Lord God [will] be glorified.”
