A total of 1,176 new officers of various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, Philippines took their oath of duty during a special gathering of Church officers on October 18, 2026.

The Church Administration sent Brother Arnel T. Verceles to officiate at the occasion held at the Urdaneta City Cultural & Sports Center. He delivered a Bible-based lesson detailing the proper way Church officers must fulfill their sacred duties, bearing in mind that God is the One who entrusted them such spiritual gifts.

Afterwards, Brother Marcial Castillo, district Church officer overseer, administered the oath-taking of the new officers.

“We are thankful to our Lord God because of the great success that He has given to our district,” Brother Castillo said in an interview later. “The newly sworn officers are an additional strength of the Church who will help the Church Administration in taking care of the brethren,” he added.

Recognizing Church duties as blessings from God, Ronnamae Ballesteros, a newly sworn officer from the Urdaneta City Congregation, promised, “I will prioritize my divine obligations among all other responsibilities, even if trials and hardships come.”

“Although the members of the Church Of Christ have different responsibilities, they are united in their love and concern for the welfare of the Church, the well-being of the brethren, and in strengthening their faith,” Brother Dante N. Parco, district supervising minister, emphasized. “The Church Administration expects all officers of the Church Of Christ to remain united in their love for the Church and to continue standing for what is right,” he added. — With reports from April May A.
