“The brethren in our district are united with the Church Administration in the intensified work of propagating the true faith so that more people will be called inside the Church Of Christ,” said Brother King Soliman, district Light of Salvation overseer.

The Ecclesiastical District of Hawaii-Pacific held simultaneous evangelical missions on September 11, 2026 on the islands of O‘ahu, Big Island, Maui, Kauai, and American Samoa, in commemoration of the 17th anniversary of the dynamic leadership of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo as the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

On the island of O‘ahu, Brother Gem H. Baitan, district supervising minister, led the study of God’s words at the house of worship of Honolulu Congregation. Brother Randy Weir, district Church officers overseer, and Brother Jeyve Kisio, district edification overseer, officiated at Ewa Beach and Waipahu, both also in O‘ahu, respectively.

Meanwhile, Brother Adorado Apostol, assistant district supervising minister, led the proclamation of God’s words at the Local Congregation of Keaau (Big Island). Brother Jeffrey Domingo, Brother McDaniel Martinez, and Brother Brian Aniciete, ministers of the gospel, officiated at Wailuku (Maui), Kalaheo (Kauai), and American Samoa, respectively.

The officiating ministers taught a Bible-based lesson focusing on understanding man’s reason for being and finding the right direction in life that will ultimately lead to salvation when the Lord Jesus Christ returns or on Judgment Day. It was emphasized during the preaching that in order to do this, one needs to join the true Church.

Among the guests invited in the Local Congregation of Kalihi were Lanibelle Francisco and her son Ethan. “The message of the lesson is a mind-opener. People need the true Church that teaches the proper way of serving God,” said Lanibelle. “I feel great having attended this activity. This Church teaches the truth,” said Ethan. They both expressed that they would like to learn more about the Church Of Christ by attending upcoming evangelical missions.

Brenda Aquino, finance officer, the one who invited them to the evangelical mission, said in an interview, that “It is my sincere desire that whenever there are evangelical missions, I am able to bring guests with me for them to hear and understand what is being taught in the Church Of Christ.”
