As the number of children in the Local Congregation of Northridge, Ecclesiastical District of Los Angeles County, California, continues to grow, the Church Administration approved its request to establish a Children’s Worship Service (CWS). Previously, children in the congregation attended CWS in neighboring congregations.

On September 12, 2026, the young brethren, accompanied by their parents, gathered at the North Hollywood Congregation’s house of worship for the inaugural Northridge CWS.

Brother Kim Johndel Gamab, resident minister of Northridge Congregation, emphasized, “The establishment of the CWS ensures that the young members of the Church are cared for and taught God’s words from an early age, helping them grow up faithfully and remain steadfast in following His teachings.”

Brother Pierre Cardin Perez, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, officiated the inaugural worship service. The CWS lesson emphasized the importance of always loving the brotherhood.

Also in attendance were Brother Artemio T. Pilon Jr., the district supervising minister, and Brother Ferdinand De Dios, the assistant district supervising minister.

Brother Alexander James Baliola, a CWS officer, expressed his gratitude, saying: “Thanks to our Lord God for it is truly a blessing to be given the opportunity to perform our duties and experience His love and of the Church Administration.”
