To mark its seventh anniversary, the Ecclesiastical District of Rizal East held a special gathering, followed by an INConcert, both at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines on August 9, 2026.

Brother Romer D. Galang, Church Officers Overseer, officiated at the special gathering held at 4:00 p.m. He emphasized the importance of remaining faithful and resilient at all times. He pointed out that God appoints Church officers whom He expects to help in edifying the faith of His people especially in times of hardship. Having these said, Brother Galang then exhorted the Church officers to keep their zeal and diligence in fulfilling their sacred duties.

After the preaching of God’s words, district supervising minister Brother Arnel Macatangay administered the oath-taking of 1,290 new officers.

Jericho Morano, newly sworn local Buklod vice president from Lagundi Congregation, expressed, “My heart was truly filled with gladness, and I am thankful to the Lord God for entrusting me with this duty which I will strive to fulfill for the benefit of the Church.” In another interview, James Moses Gutierrez, newly sworn fifth head deacon from the same congregation shared, “I am filled with hope that, with God’s help, I will be able to effectively perform my duty.”

The INConcert was held a couple of hours after the special gathering. After a prayer led by district secretary Brother Carlo Carinan, the brethren received welcoming remarks from assistant district supervising minister Brother Joselito Salas.

Afterwards, performers from various congregations serenaded and entertained their fellow brethren through musical presentations featuring INC Original Music. Brethren also took the event as an opportunity to strengthen their bond with one another as they enjoyed having a sumptuous dinner as the program unfolded.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Brother Macatangay followed by a prayer led by district Christian Family Organizations overseer Brother Novo Africano.

“These activities which were held in commemoration of the 7th anniversary of this district all aim to give glory to the Lord God and to the Lord Jesus Christ,” “Through these, we recognize and cherish the guidance bestowed by the Lord God through the Church Administration which led to the triumphs attained by this district in the various endeavors of the Church,” explained Brother Salas.

Axl Rose Lim, choir member and finance officer from Madrigal Extension, shared, “I never missed the opportunity to take part in this meaningful celebration which the brethren in this district have anticipated so much to be a part of.” Elva Umagbon, choir member from Pililla Congregation, also enthused, “Through this activity, my strength is renewed and I am further inspired to fulfill my duty.” — With reports from Mark Angelo Guamos
