The Christian Family Organizations (CFO) in the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan, Philippines held CFO Cares for the benefit of prospective members, doctrinal instructees, as well as members. It was conducted at the Orani Gymnasium on August 8, 2026.

Donations from brethren to the 200 recipients were mostly pre-loved clothes the latter could wear for worship services.

“Approved by the Church Administration, this socio-civic event allows brethren to show love and care for … members and [those joining the Church] by distributing clothing primarily for the most important occasion in the Church Of Christ, the worship service to the Lord God,” said Brother Roderick C. Chulvo, district supervising minister, who spearheaded the humanitarian activity.

He added, “By temporarily easing the heavy burdens of life caused by severe poverty, … this activity helps in fulfilling the utmost desire of the Church Administration and members: to please God.”

“Seeing the smiles of those who … received the items I donated filled my heart with joy,” said Marisa Rouse, deaconess from the Local Congregation of Luacan. “It’s wonderful to bond with the brethren and to see the prospective members and doctrinal instructees so happy.”

“I’m really happy because I had limited clothing for attending worship services. Now, I received more,” enthused Ednalie Cabantog, doctrinal instructee from the Orani Congregation. — With assistance from Haremzelle Manansala
