Blessed with a new house of worship, brethren from the Local Congregation of Barangay Site, in the Ecclesiastical District of Davao City, Philippines, gathered for its dedication to God through a special worship service that was held on August 8, 2026.

Brother Macleo V. Ibasco, district supervising minister, officiated at the worship service. During the Bible-based homily, he emphasized the importance of having a house of worship where the brethren can render solemn worship and prayers to God, listen to His words for them to obey, and strengthen their faith.

“We are very happy that we now have a new house of worship,” shared 85-year-old Cecilia Dora Buendia, choir member.

The house of worship, which stands at Purok 2, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Babak District, has a seating capacity of 120, equipped with a CCTV system and LED TV.

Flordecil Dora Buendia, a finance officer, said, “We’re truly grateful to God for this blessing. We will remain active in fulfilling our duties and participating in the activities of the Church.”

“Now that we have a new and beautiful house of worship, we, together with the Church officers and all the brethren in the congregation, will be even more zealous in participating in the activities launched by the Church Administration,” said Brother Ramon P. Pabale, resident ministerial worker.

Although found in  Davao del Norte, the congregation is under the supervision of Davao City District owing to its proximity to the said city. — With assistance from Mayby-Lynn Tarroja
