In commemoration of the 112th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on July 27, 2026, its members from the Ecclesiastical District of Batangas, in the Philippines, participated in conducting evangelical missions that same day and Pasugo magazine distribution drive three days prior.

Pasugo distribution
On July 24, brethren from all local congregations in the district united in distributing copies of Pasugo: God’s Message in their respective neighborhoods. As they did, they invited their neighbors to listen to the proclamation of the gospel to be held in three days.

According to the district Light of Salvation office, a total of 4,758 magazines were handed out.

Mindful of the activity’s significance, Alexandra Fulgencio, a KADIWA officer from the Local Congregation of Danglayan, said, “Through the Pasugo magazine, more people are given the opportunity to learn the biblical teachings upheld in the Iglesia Ni Cristo. I’m thankful to the Church Administration for encouraging us to remain active in sharing our faith.”

Franz Patrick Obrador, choir leader in the Calumpang East Congregation, shared his zeal: “I remain united in supporting the Church’s work of propagation.”

Evangelical missions
The Pasugo distribution drive proved helpful three days later, on July 27, when every local congregation in the district conducted an evangelical mission as the brethren went back to those who were given the magazine to invite them again to listen to the study of God’s words.

Brother Pedro Castillo, district supervising minister, and Brother Felman Reyes, assistant district supervising minister, led their fellow ministers and ministerial workers in preaching the gospel. They were at the respective houses of worship of the Wawa Batangas and Lemery congregations.

The lesson the ministers taught dealt with God’s will that all people come to know the truth, the pure gospel, that leads to salvation. They proved that one of these inevitable truths is joining the true Church, the Iglesia Ni Cristo, which should be done without delay since the Judgment Day is very near.

“I agreed to attend because I believed it would help me become closer to God,” shared a guest, Mae Ann Panganiban. “Listening to the biblical teachings made me become a more positive person.”

“I’m thankful to God for allowing me to be instrumental in the works of the Church like this,” enthused Denalla Taime Cortas, choir member of the Lobo Congregation. “I will remain one with the Church Administration in all the activities of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.” — With assistance from Paula Janine Dimaculangan
