For the month of July, propagation efforts in the Church Of Christ in Agusan del Norte, Philippines, yielded a total of  158 converts to the true Christian faith.

They received their baptism on July 25, 2026 at the baptistery at the Local Congregation of Bangayan’s house of worship compound.

Agusan del Norte Ecclesiastical District supervising minister, Brother Nicanor Bernardo Jr., officiated at the baptismal gathering, during which he inspired the aspiring members of the great blessing of being an Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) member, among which is obtaining His promise of safekeeping. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their calling and live by God’s commandments to attain salvation on Judgment Day.

After the homily, the baptismal candidates took their oath of membership before their immersion into water as the Bible prescribes.

“I wholeheartedly thank the Lord God for this priceless blessing of becoming a full-fledged member of the Church. This is a moment I’ve long prayed and waited for,” shared Reymark Plantar of the Antongalon Congregation. “With God’s help, I will remain faithful to my calling, safeguard my membership, and continue living according to His will so that I may be worthy of attaining the promised salvation.”

Another newly baptized, Neljay Banog from Mandacpan Congregation, said, “I thank the Lord God for His love and mercy in calling me into the Church. I will cherish this precious calling for the rest of my life and will never let go of it, no matter what happens, so that I may be worthy of God’s promises.”— With reports from Michael Calo and Jundrel Dondoyano
