The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) through the Ecclesiastical District of Micronesia continued efforts giving aid to those affected by the Super Typhoon Sinlaku.
Led by the district’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, CFO Cares programs were held at the compounds of the local congregations of Saipan, CNMI; Tinian, CNMI; and Rota, Marianas Pacific Extension’s place of worship on June 14, 2026. The district’s initial efforts in this regard took place from April 26 to 28 in the typhoon’s wake.
Relief packages were prepared and distributed by CFO officers to those affected near the Saipan Congregation, under the leadership of Brother Joven Sepillo Jr., the district supervising minister.
Meanwhile, Brother Julius Malabanan, assistant district supervising minister, visited those in the Rota Extension, while Brother Joseph Lankford III, resident minister of the Tinian Congregation, led the relief distribution in their vicinity.
“With the grace and mercy of God, this activity was approved to be conducted here to cater, not only the spiritual needs of those affected by the super typhoon, but their daily needs, as well,” said Brother Sepillo.
“May this be a reminder to them, especially to the brethren, that they are not alone in facing trials such as calamities, for God and Christ are there for us, even the Church Administration,” the district minister added.
