The Ecclesiastical District of Albay, Philippines, held a series of baptisms. These were held at the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Tabaco City, Legazpi City, and Sevilla on April 24, 25, and 28, 2026, respectively.
The district supervising minister, Brother Eric Zaratan, officiated in Legazpi City while the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Barry Javier, at two other said venues. All in all, there were a total of 101 newly baptized members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).
During the study of God’s words, the officiating ministers emphasized the importance of becoming members of the true Church and upholding obedience to all of God’s commandments towards receiving salvation on Judgment Day.
“I examined the biblical teachings inside the Church. Understanding the importance of obeying God’s commandments prompted me to join the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” shared newly baptized Jenelyn Bagasala, a former Catholic.
Right after the baptismal gatherings, “Welcome, Kapatid Ko” (Welcome, My Brethren) activities were held. Through these, the brethren warmly received and congratulated the newly baptized members into the Church. Moreover, they were introduced and invited to the various Christian Family Organizations activities.
