“This day has finally come. Despite many struggles and challenges, I was able to overcome them with God’s help. Now, I can truly serve Him as I hope to be among those saved on Judgment Day,” said Blas Barraca Jr. from the Local Congregation of Zaldivar.

Sharing the same sentiment were other newly baptized members in the Ecclesiastical District of Aklan, who were thankful to God for reaching their most awaited day of baptism on April 25, 2026 at the house of worship of the Kalibo Congregation.

Brother Fernando Galapon, district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal gathering.

During the study of God’s words, the prospective members received exhortations from the Bible to fully uphold His teachings and withstand any trials they may encounter as true Christians. Brother Galapon further explained that by doing so, they would remain strong in the faith and steadfast in their hope of receiving the promised salvation.

Jomer Caballo from the Monlaque Extension vowed “to be devoted in attending worship services. Now that I’m a Church member, I will strive to remain active and never leave the Church.”

In an interview, Brother Galapon expressed his thanks to the brethren who were instrumental in the conversion of the newly baptized members. He shared, “Despite the current situation of the world, the brethren were not hindered in fulfilling their duties to spread the gospel. Thanks be to God for giving them the faith to endure.” — With reports from Jac Macaire Javedra and Ashley Ebon
