The San Carlos City, Pangasinan Ecclesiastical District leadership sworn in 335 newly appointed officers during their general meeting on March 31, 2026, even as it reinvigorated the spiritual zeal of more than 3,000 Church officers from all local congregations under its care.

The house of worship of the Local Congregation of Malasiqui served as the host site to which 49 other local congregations connected via livestreaming.

District Church officers overseer Brother Almineo Aguilar began the meeting with a prayer. It was followed by the giving of important reminders and instructions by ministers from the district leadership.

Then, district supervising minister, Brother Joseph S. Amarille, delivered a timely lecture based on biblical teachings. He emphasized the importance of holding duties in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) as they are gifts from the Lord God not only to be used for His service but for their own edification. He led the prayer after his lecture.

Afterwards, assistant district supervising minister Brother Phil Campos administered the oath-taking of the newly appointed officers, a number of whom as deacons and deaconesses. District edification overseer Brother Romeo Empay led the prayer after.

Among those who took oath as deacon and deaconess were couple Jaime and Anita Cristobal from Bogtong Congregation. “We eagerly anticipated this activity that we didn’t allow anything to hinder us from being here. This activity has our faith strengthened, courage renewed,” Jaime said, adding, “Even in the midst of trials, I firmly believe that He will take good care of me when I fulfill my duty.”

“This increase of Church officers in our district will be a great help in strengthening the faith of our brethren,” attested Brother Aguilar.
