DULAG, Pangasinan — Members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN International) conducted a Cleanup Drive in Barangay Dulag, Lingayen, Pangasinan, on April 20, 2025.

The SCAN members’ Cleanup Drive aims to maintain cleanliness in communities. Equipped with cleaning tools, the SCAN members worked together to show concern for the environment.

“The goal of this activity is to help the community in Barangay Dulag,” said Mark Loi Yarcia, an Evangelical Worker assigned to the INC Local Congregation of Dulag.

Residents expressed their gratitude for the effort. “We are thankful to Iglesia Ni Cristo. This will also benefit the children’s health,” said Flora Mae Cerezo, one of the residents.

Gabby Tuazon, president of the SCAN organization in Dulag, assured that the collected waste would be disposed of properly and responsibly.

SCAN is an organization of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) members that aims to assist in the field of communication and information, promote the importance of amateur radio communication, extend help to their fellowmen in need, and take care of the environment. SCAN members continually undergo training in communication, disaster preparedness, and emergency response to deliver fast and effective services in times of crisis. They are not only active during disasters. They also conduct relief and rescue operations and actively participate in socio-civic programs.

These acts help individuals and entire communities, as INC members fulfill the Christian teaching to do good and help those in need.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo has active Church members and congregations in more than 160 countries and territories.
