“This activity is truly fitting as we commemorate this year the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers (INC-SFM) and the 15th year of administration of our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo,” said Brother Ricky Capariño.
The minister of the gospel, who is also the INC-SFM Cauayan City Extension’s Coordinator, was referring to the evangelical mission he officiated at the house of worship of Cauayan City Congregation on March 3, 2024. It was made possible with the ministerial students assigned in the Ecclesiastical District of Isabela East, Philippines, leading the brethren under their supervision.
The ministerial students’ zeal in such endeavor, from inviting to bringing along guests, was complemented by that of brethren’s enthusiasm to help in propagating the gospel.
Melanie Laureta was among the guests who decided to become a doctrinal instructee after the evangelical mission. Laureta shared, “I thank God for giving me the chance to understand His words.”
With devotional prayers as first among other steps to prepare for this propagational activity, Brother Jeremy Piedad, a third-year ministerial student assigned to the Local Congregation of Luna also “visited the brethren entrusted to my care, encouraging them to invite their loved ones and friends who are not yet Church members to attend the evangelical mission.”
“I thank the brethren who gave their full support for this activity. They were truly helpful in bringing along guests.” Brother Jericho Loyola, also a third-year ministerial student, assigned to the Local Congregation of Paraiso, said.
Earl Jan Mariano, another guest, also decided to undergo Bible studies on doctrines. “One of the reasons I decided to join the Church is I wanted to be saved on Judgment Day.” – With reports from Joy Bumatay and Jay-Ar Bautista of INC News Section
