Through the efforts of local congregation chroniclers and Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers of the Balungao Congregation in the Ecclesiastical District of Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines, “Moments of Unity and Faith,” a photo exhibit,  was mounted on October 18, 2026  congregation’s house of worship compound. More than 400 brethren came to see.

“This activity which was launched by the Church Administration was held to help in further inspiring the brethren to remain zealous and firm in their faith amidst the trials that they face,” explained resident minister, Brother Rogel Arevalo. As its name signifies, the said photo exhibit features historical moments and activities of the congregation since its early years up to the present that well demonstrated the brethren’s unity and faith.

Prior to the opening of the exhibit, Brother Arevalo led a prayer which was then followed by a musical presentation performed by members of the Children’s Worship Service.

Afterwards, the brethren led by district supervising minister, Brother Ricky M. Bayanin, and assistant district supervising minister, Brother Junnel Camacho, toured around the exhibit. Brethren, young and old alike, never missed the opportunity to take a look of the photos on display and accompanying descriptions.

Dario Mariñas, a head deacon, expressed his gratitude to the Church Administration for implementing the said activity which “showed the brethren the humble beginnings of the congregation and how God guided us towards many victories.”

“It truly inspired me upon seeing how generations of brethren in this congregation remained active in their Church membership,” remarked Cresencia Velicaria.

“I am happy for being able to take part not only in this event, but also in the many activities which are now part of this congregation’s history,” enthused Jovy Cacananta. “My heart is filled with joy as I see our old photos showing how, even before, we were actively united in taking part in the endeavors of the Church,” added Florida Galileo, choir member. — With reports from Almar Cargo
