“Houses of worship are very important because here we can pray to the Lord God for our needs, … we conduct our worship services here [as part of our] services to God,” said Brother Harold Ramos, ministerial worker, in an interview on July 17, 2021, right after the new house of worship of the Local Congregation of Amucao, in the Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac, Philippines where he is assigned was dedicated to the Lord God.
Brother Emil Santiago, district supervising minister, officiated during which he expounded on a biblical lesson about the importance of houses of worship to the brethren.
The brethren eagerly attended the sacred occasion and are thankful to the Lord God for the blessing they received. The brethren praised God through prayers and hymn-singing in the momentous occasion.
“I am joyful for we now have a bigger house of worship. This further inspires me to fulfill my duties,” Mylene Sambile, a member said.
For the orderliness of their worship services, the brethren prayed for a larger house of worship. God answered their prayers. In August 2018, the construction of the 486-seater house of worship for the local congregation started.
“In our former house of worship, we had nine schedules for [midweek and also for the weekend] worship services because of the huge number of brethren,” Benjamin Felipe Sr., head deacon, narrated.
“We thank our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo Manalo, because of his aid in our district, as proof, many houses of worship are dedicated to God, such as this new house of worship for Amucao. We thank our Lord God. The Church continues to build houses of worship in obedience to His commandment,” Brother Santiago said. “This pandemic has greatly affected the lives and livelihood of people and even the brethren are not spared from the pandemic, but the house of worship is a place where they can find peace, especially during worship services. This strengthens them, even in hardships. They are happy serving the Lord God,” he added. — With reports from INC News Section
